Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period January- September 2016.<\/p>\n
In the third quarter of 2016, compared with the previous period, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports increased for North-West <\/em>(+2.1%) and Centre (+0.8%) and decreased for South and Islands<\/em>\u00a0 (-1.5%) and North-East <\/em>(-0.2%).<\/p>\n In the first nine months of 2016, compared with the first nine months of the previous year, exports increased for South (+10.6%), North-East (+1.5%) and Centre (+1.5%), while decreased for Islands \u00a0\u00a0(-21.3%) and North-West (-0.8%).<\/p>\n In the same period more relevant increases, according to their contribution to total export increment, are recorded for Basilicata (+76.6%), Abruzzo (+12.1%), Emilia-Romagna (+1.5%), Friuli-Venezia Giulia (+5.5%), Marche (+5.2%) and Liguria (+8.5%), while relevant decreases were recorded for Piemonte (-4.9%), Sicilia (-21.2%) and Sardegna (-21.4%).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period January- September 2016.
