In order to improve the timeliness of statistical information on the Italian labour market and in accordance with the agreements made within the European Union, Istat publishes monthly estimates of the main labour market indicators resulting from the \u201cLabour force survey\u201d.<\/p>\n
In September 2015, 22.545 million persons were employed, -0.2% with respect to August 2015. Unemployed were 3.016 million, -1.1% over the previous month.<\/p>\n
