{"id":20929,"date":"2015-10-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-09-30T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nuovowww.collaudo.istat.it\/non-categorizzato\/workshop-scanner-data-2\/"},"modified":"2024-06-08T21:40:15","modified_gmt":"2024-06-08T19:40:15","slug":"workshop-scanner-data-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/event\/workshop-scanner-data-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop Scanner Data"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Workshop<br \/>\n<strong>1-2 October 2015<\/strong><br \/>\n9.30-17.30<br \/>\n9.30-16.00<br \/>\nIstat, Aula Magna<br \/>\nVia Cesare Balbo &#8211; Rome<\/p>\n<p><em>Event is by nvitation only<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The workshop \u201cScanner Data\u201d is organized by Istat in cooperation with Eurostat and it is held in Istat headquarter in Rome, Via Cesare Balbo 14 on the 1st and the 2nd of October 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The framework of this event is the European project \u201cMultipurpose Price Statistics\u201d that is aimed at modernizing the European statistics on consumer prices; it encourages an integrated approach to the use of elementary data (for both temporal and spatial comparison) and the adoption of new data sources (scanner data) and of new techniques of data collection (web scraping).<\/p>\n<p>The workshop will allow statisticians and experts of the National Statistical Institutes, of Eurostat and of other institutions to discuss the current developments and activities in the compilation, using scanner data, of consumer price indices and of purchasing power parities.
