In June 2015, according to preliminary estimates, the Italian consumer price index for the whole nation (NIC) rose by 0.1% on both monthly and annual basis (the same annual rate of change observed in May 2015).<\/p>\n
The stability of the annual rate of the All items index, registered in June, is substantially widespread to all product typologies. The only exceptions to be reported \u2013 which moreover offset each other \u2013 concerned Services related to transport (+0.3%, down from +0.8% in May 2015), Tobacco (+4.0%, down from +4.4% in the previous month) and Non energy industrial goods \u2013 durables (the annual rate was zero, from -0.4% registered in May 2015).<\/p>\n
Excluding energy and unprocessed food, core inflation was stable at 0.6%; excluding energy, the inflation was 0.8% (as in May 2015).<\/p>\n
The increase on monthly basis of All items index was mainly due to the rise \u2013 on which seasonal factors had an impact \u2013 of prices of Services related to recreation, including repair and personal care (+0.4%) and of Services related to transport (+0.2%).<\/p>\n
The annual rate of change of prices of Goods was stable at -0.3% and the annual rate of prices of Services was +0.7% (as in the previous month). As consequence, the inflationary gap between Services and Goods held steady with respect to May 2015.<\/p>\n
Prices of Grocery and unprocessed food held steady on monthly basis and rose by 0.8% on annual basis (the same rate registered in the previous month).<\/p>\n
In June 2015, according to preliminary estimates, the Italian harmonized index of consumer prices (HICP) rose by 0.1% compared with the previous month and by 0.2% with respect to June 2014 (as in May 2015).<\/p>\n
Core inflation measured by Italian HICP was 0.8%, up from 0.7% in May 2015. Both excluding energy, food, alcohol and tobacco and excluding just energy, the inflation was stable at the values registered in the previous month (respectively 0.7% and 0.8%).<\/p>\n
