The Services Turnover Index measures the quarterly change recorded in sales at current prices by enterprises belonging to the domain of services. Starting from the first quarter of 2013 the indices are calculated with reference to the base year 2010 using the Ateco 2007 classification (Italian edition of Nace Rev. 2).<\/p>\n
In the first quarter of 2015 the Services Turnover Index increased by 0.6%. In particular, the index increased by 1.3% for Wholesale trade, trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, by 0.8% \u00a0for \u00a0Transport, Warehousing and support activities, by 0.2 for Accommodation and food service activities. Decreases are recorded for Professional, scientific and technical activities (-2.8%), for Information and communication and for the Administrative and support service activities (both -0.6%).<\/p>\n
In the first quarter of 2015 the seasonally adjusted Services Turnover Index increased by 0.3%. In particular, the index increases in Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles (+1.3%), in Postal and courier activities (+1.1%), in Information and communication services (+0.8%), in Air transport (+0.7%) and in Water transport (+0.3%). A decrease is recorded in Wholesale trade (-0.1%).<\/p>\n
