The Services Turnover Index measures the quarterly change recorded in sales at current prices by enterprises belonging to the domain of services. Starting from the first quarter of 2013 the indices are calculated with reference to the base year 2010 using the Ateco 2007 classification (Italian edition of Nace Rev. 2).<\/p>\n
In the third quarter of 2014 the Services Turnover Index decreased by 0.6%. In particular, the index increased by 1.2% for Transport, Warehousing and support activities, by 0,3% for Wholesale trade, trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles. Decreases are recorded for Professional, scientific and technical activities (-3.7%), for Information and communication (-3.5%), for the Administrative and support service activities (-2.9%) and for Accommodation and food service activities (-2.4%).<\/p>\n
In the third quarter of 2014 the seasonally adjusted index increased for Air transport (+1.1%) and for Wholesale trade (+0.3%). A decrease is recorded in all the other sectors: Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles (-1.4%),\u00a0 Information \u00a0and communication services (-0.9%), Postal and courier activities (-0.2%) and Water transport (-0.1%).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
