Labour indicators for large firms (enterprises with 500 employees and more) are calculated with reference to the base year 2010 using the Ateco 2007 classification (Italian edition of Nace rev. 2).<\/p>\n
In February 2013 the seasonally adjusted employment index in large firms decreased by 0.1% compared with January (-0.1% in industry and -0.2% in services); net of workers in cassa integrazione guadagni (Cig = short-time working allowance) it decreased by 0.3% (-0.5% in industry and -0.1% in services). The percentage \u00a0change of \u00a0the average of the last three months compared to the previous three months was -0.4% gross of Cig and -0.3% net of Cig.<\/p>\n
The \u00a0unadjusted \u00a0employment \u00a0\u00a0index \u00a0in \u00a0large firms decreased by 1.3% compared with \u00a0January 2013 (-1.6% net of Cig); the percentage change of the first two months of the year with respect to the same period of 2012 was -1.4% (-1.6% net of Cig).<\/p>\n
In February 2013 the seasonally adjusted index of gross average earnings per hours worked increased by 1.8% with respect to the previous month (+2.6% in industry and +0.3% in services). The percentage change of the average of the last three months compared to the previous three months was -1.5% (-0.7% in industry and -1.5% in services).<\/p>\n
The unadjusted index of gross average earnings per hours worked increased by 2.7% compared with February 2012 (+3.9% in industry and +2.1% in services). The percentage change of the first two months of the year with respect to the same period of 2012 was -0.9% (-2.0 % in industry and -0.3% in services).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
