{"id":18571,"date":"2013-02-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-02-04T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nuovowww.collaudo.istat.it\/non-categorizzato\/consumer-prices-provisional-data-january-2013\/"},"modified":"2024-06-08T21:31:35","modified_gmt":"2024-06-08T19:31:35","slug":"consumer-prices-provisional-data-january-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/press-release\/consumer-prices-provisional-data-january-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Consumer prices (provisional)"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>In January 2013, the Italian consumer price index for the whole nation (NIC) increased by 0.2% compared with the previous month and by 2.2% with respect to January 2012 (0.1 lower than in December 2012).<br \/>\nThe fourth consecutive Italian inflation slowdown is mainly due to the annual growth rates decrease of prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels (+4.7%, from 6.4% in December) and of Transport (+3.1%, from +4.6% in December). These slowdowns are also produced by the comparison with January 2012 when large increases of energetic goods prices were recorded.<br \/>\nFood and non-alcoholic beverages had an upward impact effect on inflation.
