In the third\u00a0quarter of \u00a02012\u00a0the Services Turnover Index\u00a0 shows a\u00a0decrease\u00a0 of 5.6%.<\/p>\n
Compared to the third quarter of 2011 the turnover index\u00a0increases in Warehousing and support activities for transportations (+5.4%), in Air transport (+2.9%) and in Land transport and transport via pipelines (+2.4%).<\/p>\n
A decrease has been recorded in all other sectors: -20.2% in Wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, -13.2% in Postal and courier activities, -6.6% in Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles, -5.6% in Water transport, -4.8% in Wholesale trade, -4.4% in Information and communication services and -2.5% in Accomodation and food service activities.<\/p>\n
In the third quarter of 2012 compared with the previous quarter the seasonally adjusted index of turnover decreases by 3.1% in Postal and courier activities and by 1.6% in Information and communication services, while an increase has been recorded in Water transport (+5.5%), in Air transport (+3.6%) and in Wholesale trade (+0.2%).
