Since January 2009 indices are calculated with reference to the base year 2005.<\/p>\n<p>In the second quarter of 2012:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the Input price index rose by 1.1% compared to the previous quarter and by 2.9% in comparison to the same period of the previous year; the monthly indices compared to those of the previous year rose by 2.8% in April, by 3.3% in May and by 2.5% in June;<\/li>\n<li>the Output price index decreased by 1.1% compared to the previous quarter and rose by 0.5% in comparison to the same period of the previous year; the monthly indices compared to those of the previous year decreased by 2.0% in April, by 1.5% in May and rose by 2.9% in June.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The agricultural price indices provide information on trends in purchase prices of the means of production\u00a0 and producer prices of agricultural products.
