The agricultural price indices provide information on trends in purchase prices of the means of production\u00a0 and producer prices of agricultural products. Since January 2009 indices are calculated with reference to the base year 2005. In the fourth quarter of 2011:<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the Input price index decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous quarter and rose by 4.7% in comparison to the same period of the previous year; the monthly indices compared to those of the previous period rose by 0.1% in October and by 0.2% in November and decreased by 0.2% in December;<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the Output price index rose by 1.7% compared to the previous quarter, and rose by 4.9% in comparison to the same period of the previous year; the monthly indices compared to those of the previous period rose by 0.9% in October and 1.3% in December, decreased by 3.0% in November.<\/p>\n
With reference to the year 2011 compared to the previous year
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0the Input price index rose by 6.3%;
