{"id":17677,"date":"2012-02-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-02-28T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nuovowww.collaudo.istat.it\/non-categorizzato\/turnover-in-other-services-iv-quarter-2011\/"},"modified":"2024-06-08T21:28:35","modified_gmt":"2024-06-08T19:28:35","slug":"turnover-in-other-services-iv-quarter-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/non-categorizzato\/turnover-in-other-services-iv-quarter-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Turnover in other services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Indices of turnover in other services measure the quarterly change recorded in sales, at current prices, by firms belonging to a subset of the entire domain.<strong> <\/strong>Since the first quarter of 2009 the indices have been calculated with reference to the base year 2005 using the new Ateco 2007 classification (Italian edition of Nace Rev. 2).<\/p>\n<p>In the fourth quarter of 2011, compared with the third quarter, the seasonally adjusted index of turnover increased by 0.9% in Information and communication services and by 0.2% in Water transport. A decrease has been recorded in Air transport (-2.8%), in Postal and courier activities (-0.9%), in Wholesale trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (-0.5%) and in Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles (-0.1%).<\/p>\n<p>Compared to the fourth quarter of 2010 the turnover index increased \u00a0by 3.5% in Water transport, by 2.3% in Air transport\u00a0 and by 1.3% in Information and communication services.
