Istat presents data on Italy\u2019s foreign trade as well as unit value and volume indices (base year 2005=100) referring to November 2011. The results of the flash estimates on extra-EU trade for November 2011 has been disseminated on December 22nd.<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0In November 2011 seasonally-adjusted data, compared to October 2011, showed an increase of 2.3% for export and of 0.5% for imports. The increase, for exports, was higher for non EU countries (+3.1%) than EU area (+1.6%). As regards imports the increase was similar for both areas: +0.6% for non EU countries\u00a0 and +0.5% EU markets. Over the last three months, seasonally-adjusted data, in comparison with the previous three months, showed an increase of 1% for outgoing flows and a drop of 0.6% for incoming flows.<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0In November 2011, compared with the same month of the previous year, trade rose by 6.5% for exports (+3.1% for EU area and +11.3% for non EU countries) and by 0.5% for imports (-2.1% for EU and +3.9% for non EU countries). The trade balance amounted to\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 -1.6 billion Euro (table 1) compared with -3.4 billion Euro registered in the same month of 2010.<\/p>\n
\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Up to November 2011, compared with the same period of the previous year, trade increased by 11.9% for exports (+9.5% for EU area and +15.2% for non EU countries) and by 10.6% for imports (+6.9% for EU and +15.1% for non EU countries). Trade balance showed a deficit of 25.8 billion Euro (table 1). It was 27 billion Euro in the same period of 2010.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
