Labour indicators for large firms (enterprises with 500 employees and more) are calculated with reference to the base year 2005 using the Ateco 2007 classification (Italian edition of Nace rev. 2).<\/p>\n
In September 2011 the seasonally adjusted employment index in large firms is unchanged compared with August 2011 (-0.2% in industry and +0.1% in services), also net of workers in cassa integrazione guadagni (Cig = short-time working allowance) it is unchanged (-0.6% in industry and +0.2% in services). The percentage change of the average of the last quarter compared to the previous quarter was -0.3% gross of Cig and -0.4% net of Cig<\/p>\n
The unadjusted employment index in \u00a0large firms decreased by 0.6% compared with September \u00a02010 \u00a0(-0.4 net of Cig); the percentage change in the first nine months of 2011 with respect to same period of 2010 was -0.6% (-0.3% net of Cig).<\/p>\n
In September 2011 the seasonally adjusted index of gross average earnings per hours worked decreased by 1.2% with respect to the previous month (+3.1% in industry and -3.5% in services). The percentage change \u00a0of the \u00a0average \u00a0of the \u00a0last \u00a0three \u00a0months \u00a0compared to the \u00a0previous \u00a0three months was -1.7% (-1.4% both in industry and in services).<\/p>\n
The unadjusted index of gross average earnings per hours worked decreased by 2.1% compared with September 2010 (+3.0% in industry and -4.7% in services). The percentage change in the first nine months of 2011 with respect to the same period of 2010 was +1.3% (+3.5% in industry and +0.2% in services).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
