The estimates produced refer to the population that maintains residence in the same municipality throughout the period considered. This population was calculated as the resident population at the beginning of the period (excluding individuals in cohabiting households), net of deaths and changes of residence to other municipalities and\/or abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The cross-referencing of the variables in the files (occupational status, type of work activity, work experience, job search, etc.) makes it possible to estimate inflows, outflows and permanence in the various conditions, with a breakdown, in particular, by gender, age and territory.<\/p>\n<p>ngitudinal files 12 months apart concern three different periods that are not comparable with each other: from first quarter 2004 \u2013 first quarter 2005 (Q12004-Q12005) to first quarter 2012 \u2013 first quarter 2013 (Q12012-Q12013); from third quarter 2012 \u2013third quarter 2013 (Q32012-Q32013) to fourth quarter 2019 \u2013 fourth quarter 2020 (Q42019-Q42020); from first quarter 2021 \u2013 first quarter 2022 (Q12021-Q12022).<\/p>\n<p><em>Starting from 2021 ( first quarter) \u2013 2022 ( first quarter), longitudinal data: <\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>are produced for each quarter of each year;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>broaden the possibilities of analysis thanks to the release of a larger number of variables, including on hosehold characteristics;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>consider the changes in the definitions of family and employment, therefore they are not comparable with those produced previously.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>From 2012 ( third quarter) \u2013 2013 (third quarter) to 2019 (fourth quarter) \u2013 2020 (fourth quarter) longitudinal data:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>were produced for each quarter of each year;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>they consider the population reconstructed on the basis of the Census results and the revision of the registers by the Municipalities in the post-census period, therefore they are not comparable with those produced previously.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>From 2004 (first quarter) \u2013 2005 (first quarter) to 2012 (first quarter) \u2013 2013 (first quarter) longitudinal data:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>were produced for each quarter of each year.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Metadata<\/h3>\n<p>See the Italian version of this page for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/microdata\/labour-force-survey-12-months-longitudinal-data\/\">the data<\/a> (until IV quarter 2025)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Online the metedata until IV quarter 2025<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4097],"tags":[3296,3495,3196,3711,3756,3208],"regione":[],"tema":[4071],"class_list":["post-17135","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-microdata","tag-employed","tag-labour","tag-labour-cost","tag-labour-force","tag-scientific-use-files","tag-unemployed","tema-labour"],"meta_fields":{"data_pubblicazione":"20210930","descrizioneperiodo":"Various quarters  2004-2020","titolobreve":"Labour Force Survey-12 months longitudinal data","news":"Microdata for research purposes available on the \"Labour Force Survey - 12 months longitudinal data\"","news_rss":"Microdata for research purposes available on the \"Labour Force Survey - 12 months longitudinal data\".
