The percentage of recycled waste, out of the total about of urban waste, was of 31.7%, up by 1.4 percentage points from the previous year.<\/p>\n
Regarding recycled waste, the excellent performances of Pordenone, Novara and Carbonia were contrasted by the negative achievements of three Sicilian provincial capitals: Messina, Siracusa and Enna.<\/p>\n

Turin, Mantua, Pescara and Iglesias approved acoustic zoning in their municipal territories in 2010.<\/p>\n
Public transport in provincial capitals transported an overall 228.6 travellers per inhabitant, with a rise of 0.6% in comparison with 2009.<\/p>\n
Each inhabitant in the 116 provincial capitals had access to 106.4m2 of green areas under public management, 3.1 m2 more for each inhabitant than in 2000.<\/p>\n
Lastly, the use of solar panels installed on municipal buildings rose: average electric power, which reached 1.1 kW for each 1,000 inhabitants in 2010, recorded an increase of 114.9% against 2009.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
