The industrial producer price index measures the evolution of output prices for goods manufactured in Italy and sold on the domestic and non-domestic markets. Since January 2011 indices are compiled in the calculation base December 2011 and disseminated in reference base 2005.<\/p>\n
In February 2011 the total producer price index increased by 0.5% with respect to the previous month; the index of producer prices rose by 0.6% on domestic market and rose by 0.5% on non domestic market. The percentage change of the average of the last three months compared to the previous three months was +1.7 (+1.9 on domestic market and +1.3 on non domestic one).<\/p>\n
The index rose by 5.3% compared with February 2010 (+5.7% on domestic market and +4.5% on non-domestic market).<\/p>\n
