Since January 2009 the indices are calculated with reference to the base year 2005 using the new Ateco 2007 classification (Italian edition of Nace Rev. 2).<\/p>\n<p>In January 2011 the seasonally adjusted retail trade index decreased by 0.3% with respect to the previous month (-0.5% for food goods and -0.2% for non food goods).
