Area mapping of national goods exports in relation to Local Labour Market Areas confirms the existence of\na high degree of concentration in foreign sales: the leading 10% of LLMAs in terms of export value generate 71% of total foreign sales, and this figure rises to 92% when the leading 25% of LLMAs are taken into account. Made in Italy LLMAs contribute roughly 44% of national exports (44.7% of processed and manufactured products alone). In particular, the textiles,apparel, leather and related products represent 13.7% of national exports and the other \u201cmade in Italy\u201d LLMAs 30.4%. Among the local systems that provide the most significant contribution to national exports, 113 are located in the North, 35 in Central Italy (mainly in Toscana and Marche) and 24 in the South and the Islands (the Siracusa, Cagliari, Atessa and Napoli systems represent over 41% of the area's total exports).","sottotitolo":""},"acf":[],"wpml_current_locale":"en_US","wpml_translations":[],"tags-info":[{"id":3225,"label":"exports","slug":"exports"},{"id":3255,"label":"industry","slug":"industry"},{"id":3381,"label":"labour market areas","slug":"labour-market-areas"},{"id":2969,"label":"statistics report","slug":"report"}],"categories-info":[{"id":4082,"label":"Press release","slug":"press-release"}],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/16103","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=16103"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/16103\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=16103"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=16103"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=16103"},{"taxonomy":"regione","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/regione?post=16103"},{"taxonomy":"tema","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tema?post=16103"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
