{"id":134510,"date":"2026-10-12T12:04:37","date_gmt":"2026-10-12T10:04:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/?p=134510"},"modified":"2026-10-12T12:29:27","modified_gmt":"2026-10-12T10:29:27","slug":"islp-international-statistical-poster-competition-2026-2027","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/news\/islp-international-statistical-poster-competition-2026-2027\/","title":{"rendered":"ISLP International Statistical Poster Competition 2026-2027"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Istat and the Italian Statistical Society (SIS \u2013 Societ\u00e0 Italiana di Statistica) sponsor, as for the previous editions, the <a href=\"https:\/\/iase-web.org\/islp-poster-competition-2026-2027\"><strong>International Statistical Poster Competition 2026-2027<\/strong><\/a> as part of the International Statistical Literacy Project (<a href=\"https:\/\/iase-web.org\/islp\"><strong>ISLP<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative is aimed at school and university students worldwide and is designed to increase young people&#8217;s awareness of official statistics as a tool for understanding everyday reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two categories of participants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>upper secondary schools;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>universities (bachelor&#8217;s degrees).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The poster topic is open. The winners will be announced during the <strong>66th ISI World Congress<\/strong> (International Statistical Institute) in Lusaka (Zambia), from 11 to 15 July 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/news\/islp-international-competition-for-statistical-posters-the-highest-participation-ever-at-the-national-level\/\"><strong>The winning and honourable mentioned posters in the 2024\u20132025 edition of the competition<\/strong><\/a> are available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register their team(s), teachers must go to the following link: <a href=\"https:\/\/survey.istat.it\/ISLP2027\"><strong>https:\/\/survey.istat.it\/ISLP2027<\/strong><\/a>, providing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>whether it is an upper secondary school or university (bachelor&#8217;s degrees);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>name, school code, email, telephone, and municipality <strong>of the school<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>university and municipality <strong>of the university<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first name, surname, email, and mobile number of the contact teacher;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>if desired<\/strong>, first name, surname, email, and mobile number of a second teacher;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>number of students in the team (from one to five members);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>first name, surname, sex, and class\/year of study of the students of the registered team(s).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For each enrolled student, the provided consent form must be completed and collected, with different versions for minor and adult students.
