Data on Italy\u2019s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in March 2026 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in March 2026 will be disseminated on coming 18 May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In March 2026, exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 4.5% and imports rose by 7.8%, compared with the same month of the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In March 2026, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports and imports increased by 3.1% and 3.5% respectively, compared with February 2026. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 4.6% increase in outgoing flows and a 3.7% increase in incoming flows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In March 2026, the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 5,643 million euro compared with a surplus of 6,110 million euro in March 2025; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 9,605 million euro, down compared with a 9,977-million-euro surplus in March 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
