In December 2025, seasonally adjusted retail sales decreased by 0.8% in value and by 0.9% in volume compared with November 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the 4th<\/sup> quarter of 2025, retail sales rose by 0.3% in value and by 0.1% in volume compared with the previous quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On a year-on-year basis, retail sales in December 2025 increased by 0.9% in value, while falling by 0.2% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Compared with December 2024, retail sales grew by 0.6% in large-scale distribution, by 0.8% in small-scale stores and by 0.8% in non-store retailing. Online sales rose by 3.1% over the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With regard to non-food goods, year-on-year changes varied across the different product groups.
