In August 2025, estimates for the seasonally adjusted turnover industrial index decreased by 0.7% in value (-2.0% in volume) when compared to the previous month (-0.1% in value and -1.4% in volume in the domestic market and -1.8% in value and -3.1% in volume in the non-domestic one). For services, the seasonally adjusted turnover index decreased in the month-on-month series by 1.2% in value and by 0.8% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the three months to August, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover index remained unchanged in value while increasing in volume (+0.3%) when compared to the previous three-month period. In the same period, the services turnover index grew by 0.2% in value and decreased by 0.1% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On a year-on-year basis, in August 2025, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index decreased by 0.1% in value and 0.5% in volume (+0.8% in the domestic market and -1.7% in the non-domestic one in value and unchanged in the domestic market and -1.4% in non-domestic one in volume). Calendar working days were 20 versus 21 as in August 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In services, the calendar adjusted turnover index increased by 0.2% in value and decreased by 0.6% in volume when compared with the same month a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
