{"id":104128,"date":"2025-09-05T10:00:47","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T08:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/?p=104128"},"modified":"2025-09-05T10:00:53","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T08:00:53","slug":"retail-trade-july-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/press-release\/retail-trade-july-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Retail trade &#8211; July 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In July 2025, seasonally adjusted retail sales stayed unchanged in value and contracted by 0.2% in volume compared with June 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the three months to July, retail sales grew by 0.6% in value and by 0.1% in volume compared with the previous three-month period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On a year-on-year basis, in July 2025, retail sales increased by 1.8% in value, while remaining unchanged in volume terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared with July 2024, retail sales rose by 2.8% in large-scale distribution, by 0.6% in small-scale retail and by 0.9% in non-store sales. Online sales grew by 2.9% year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among non-food products, year-on-year trends were mixed across categories.
