{"id":103469,"date":"2026-09-22T12:38:10","date_gmt":"2026-09-22T10:38:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/?p=103469"},"modified":"2026-09-22T12:56:25","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T10:56:25","slug":"istat-2026-poster-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/news\/istat-2026-poster-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Istat 2026 Poster Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To mark 100 years of the Italian National Institute of Statistics, Istat organizes the first edition of the <strong>2026 Italian National Statistical Poster Competition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative is open to students in Italian upper secondary schools and universities and aims to foster among young people an understanding of official statistics as a tool for understanding everyday reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contest follows the same format as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/news\/islp-international-statistical-poster-competition-2024-2025\/\">ISLP International Statistical Poster Competition<\/a>, in which Istat has participated since 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two categories of participants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>upper secondary schools;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>universities (bachelor\u2019s degree).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The topic of the poster is \u201c<strong>A hundred years of history in your territory<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the information about the competition is given below (Italian only):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Regolamento-Concorso-poster.pdf\">Rules<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Linee-guida-Concorso-poster.pdf\">Guidelines for creating posters<\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Criteri-Concorso-poster-11-febbraio-2026.pdf\">Evaluation criteria<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration opened on February 11, 2026, and closed on March 23, while the deadline for submitting posters was April 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/CONCORSO-POSTER-ISTAT-2026-Come-realizzare-un-poster-statistico.pdf\">practical guide<\/a> (Italian only) on the creative process for designing posters is available to teachers and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A webinar was held in early March to guide teachers and students from registered teams in using Istat\u2019s historical statistical sources;
