In May 2025, estimates for the seasonally adjusted turnover industrial index decreased by 2.2% in value\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0(-2.3% in volume) when compared to the previous month (-2.2% in value and -2.9% in volume in the domestic market and -2.0% in value and -1.5% in volume in the non-domestic one). For services, the seasonally adjusted turnover index contracted in the month on month series by 0.9% in value and by 0.4% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the three months to May 2025, the seasonally adjusted industry turnover index fells both in value and volume (-0.6% and -0.7% respectively) when compared to the previous three-month period.\u00a0In the same period, the services turnover index rose by 0.3% in value and by 0.5% in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On a year-on-year basis, in May 2025, the calendar adjusted industry turnover index recorded a decrease of 1.8% in value and of 2.6% in volume (-2.1% in the domestic market and -1.4% in the non-domestic one in value and -3.6% in the domestic market and -1.1% in non-domestic one in volume). Calendar working days were 21 versus 22 days in May 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In services, the calendar adjusted turnover index increased by 0.8% in value and 0.4% in volume when compared with the same month a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
