{"id":2296,"date":"2023-11-10T18:34:20","date_gmt":"2023-11-10T17:34:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/?page_id=2296"},"modified":"2024-05-15T10:48:51","modified_gmt":"2024-05-15T08:48:51","slug":"quality-tools","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/classifications-and-tools\/quality-tools\/","title":{"rendered":"Quality tools"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Quality tools have been developed by Istat in order to improve the quality of statistical processes and products, consistently with Istat\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/about-istat\/\"><strong>mission<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and according to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/about-istat\/activities\/quality\/quality-framework\/\"><strong>quality framework<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0of the European Statistical System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/classifications-and-tools\/quality-tools\/guidelines\/\"><strong>Quality Guidelines<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;are among these tools which Istat set up initially only for statistics from surveys, and subsequently also for processes using administrative sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For transparency purposes, the quality documentation of Istat statistical processes is available through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/classifications-and-tools\/quality-tools\/information-system-on-quality-siqual\/\"><strong>Information system on quality (SIQual)<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;containing all metadata describing each production process and its features<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The National Quality Reports (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/classificazioni-e-strumenti\/strumenti-per-la-qualita\/schede-standard-di-qualita\/\"><strong>Schede Standard di Qualit\u00e0<\/strong><\/a>, only available in Italian), more extensive and detailed reports for expert users, including quantitative indicators on process quality, harmonised with European standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ISTAT has also established guidelines and procedures for assessing the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/classifications-and-tools\/quality-tools\/quality-assessment-tools-in-the-national-statistical-system\/\"><strong>quality of statistics produced within Sistan<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n\t<section class=\"gblock spacer white-bg  py-0\"  aria-labelledby=\"section-1\"><div class=\"container p-lg-0 block_count_1\" data-blockcount=\"1\"><div class=\"row pb-2\">\t<div class=\"col-12\">\r\n\t\t<div><\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div><\/div><\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The tools developed by Istat in order to guarantee the quality of statistical products and the transparency of the production processes are available in the section Tools for data quality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":8383,"parent":2266,"menu_order":10,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2296","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"wpml_current_locale":"en_US","wpml_translations":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/2296","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/6"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=2296"}],"version-history":[{"count":14,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/2296\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":14931,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/2296\/revisions\/14931"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/2266"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/8383"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2296"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
