Due to the under-reporting of offences, statistics collected by the judicial systems and the police forces don\u2019t allow to correctly represent the scale and the characteristics of the phenomenon, however they describe the typology of crimes acknowledged by these authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only a small proportion of crimes are reported to the law enforcement agencies and additionally statistics supplied by the judicial systems and the police forces lack information on the relationship between the victim and the perpetrator of the crime.
