Helpline 1522 represents the first possibility of help, to find a first specific answer. Anti-violence centers and shelters help in case of emergency and offer places and fundamental tools for a sustained support to women experiencing violence. Response to woman\u2019s needs is targeted and built through a sound methodology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beside specialized services, there are also general services for survivors, as emergency room in hospitals, social and health services and places where reporting the offence as the police stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As foreseen by the Istanbul Convention, it is also necessary set up treatment programmes aimed at preventing perpetrators from re-offending, with a view to preventing further violence and changing violent behavioural patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n\t
