{"id":14416,"date":"2024-01-25T16:22:42","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T15:22:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/?page_id=14416"},"modified":"2025-10-16T16:26:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T14:26:08","slug":"collaboration-with-at-the-school-of-opencohesion","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.istat.it\/en\/information-and-services-for-users\/students-and-teachers\/projects-for-schools\/collaboration-with-at-the-school-of-opencohesion\/","title":{"rendered":"Collaboration with at the School of OpenCohesion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ASOC is an innovative&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ascuoladiopencoesione.it\/en\/node\/11443\">didactic programme<\/a>&nbsp;aimed at promoting and developing in Italian schools principles of active and aware citizenship, through&nbsp;<strong>research and civic monitoring activities of the European and national public fundings<\/strong>. It started on an experimental basis in the 2013\/2014 school year with seven schools, and in the 2019\/2020 school year it came to involve 204 schools, about 500 teachers and 5,000 students. The programme is recognised as a Pathway for Transversal Skills and Orientation (\u201cPercorso per le competenze trasversali e per l\u2019orientamento\u201c \u2013 PCTO) and provides training credits to teachers who follow some modules, including the Statistical Literacy+ module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of the project is to test how public policies intervene to improve the local context. Participating classes, through the creation of a civic monitoring research, delve into the socio-economic, environmental and\/or cultural characteristics of their area starting from an intervention financed by cohesion policies. The agreement includes a dual training channel: on the one hand, support for schools through the intervention of territorial experts, and on the other hand, teacher training through the Statistical Literacy+ program, carried out by Istat thematic experts and recognized by the Ministry of Education. The training consists of four lessons that can be accessed as online webinars, with the related slides and any further insights. The more than sixty Istat experts in the reference territories carried out preparatory activities to the learning of techniques for data analysis and open data, allowing young people to strengthen their civic monitoring activities.
