A set of indicators of best practices and standards for each of the principles provides guidance and reference for reviewing the implementation of the Code of Practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n\t<section class=\"gblock spacer white-bg  py-0\"  aria-labelledby=\"section-1\"><div class=\"container p-lg-0 block_count_1\" data-blockcount=\"1\"><div class=\"row pb-2\">\t<div class=\"col-12\">\r\n\t\t<div><\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ESS Quality Assurance Framework<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Statistics Code of Practice is accompanied by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/documents\/64157\/4392716\/ESS-QAF-V1-2final.pdf\/bbf5970c-1adf-46c8-afc3-58ce177a0646\">ESS Quality Assurance Framework<\/a>, suggesting methods and tools to adhere to the principles of the Code.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n\t<section class=\"gblock spacer white-bg  py-0\"  aria-labelledby=\"section-2\"><div class=\"container p-lg-0 block_count_2\" data-blockcount=\"2\"><div class=\"row pb-2\">\t<div class=\"col-12\">\r\n\t\t<div><\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Peer Reviews<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/web\/quality\/peer-reviews\">Peer Reviews<\/a>&nbsp;are carried out about every 5 years to assess the compliance of Istat and the other National Authorities producing European statistics with the principles of the European Statistics Code of Practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\r\n\t<section class=\"gblock spacer white-bg  py-0\"  aria-labelledby=\"section-3\"><div class=\"container p-lg-0 block_count_3\" data-blockcount=\"3\"><div class=\"row pb-2\">\t<div class=\"col-12\">\r\n\t\t<div><\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Italian Code of Official Statistics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021 a new version of the\u00a0<a href=\"\/it\/listituto\/organizzazione\/normativa\/normativa-nazionale\/?lang=it\">Italian Code of Official Statistics<\/a>\u00a0was approved by the Committee for Directing and Coordinating Statistical Information (COMSTAT). The Code is based on the principles of the European Statistics Code of Practice, and it is aligned with its latest version. It represents an essential benchmark for the governance of the National Statistical System and testifies to the strong commitment to ensuring the quality of official statistics. addressed to Italian Statistical System Bodies that do not produce European Statistics (not-ONAs).
