Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period January- September 2017.
In the third quarter of 2017, compared with the previous period, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports increased for North-East (+3.0%), South and Islands (+1.4%), North-West (+0.9%) and Centre (+0.7%).
In the first nine months of 2017, compared with the year earlier, exports increased for Islands (+33.8%), Centre (+8.2%), North-West (+8.0%), North-East (+5.5%) while fell for South (-0.1%).
In the same period more relevant increases, according to their contribution to total export increment, are recorded for Lombardia (+7.3%), Piemonte (+8.9%), Lazio (+17.7), Emilia-Romagna (+5.8%) and Veneto (+5.1%), while relevant decreases were recorded for Basilicata (-16.4%) and Molise (-30.4%).
