In August 2017 the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction compared with the previous month increased by 1.8%. In the quarter Jun-Aug 2017 the index decreased by 0.4% with respect to the previous quarter.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 1.1% compared with the same month of the previous year (calendar working days being 22 as in August 2016). In the period January-August 2017 the index decreased by 0.5% in comparison with the same period of 2016.
In August 2017 the unadjusted index of production in the construction sector decreased by 1.2% compared with August 2016. The average index of the first eight months of 2017 was 0.6% lower in comparison with the same period of 2016.
