Export of Italian regions

Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period January- March 2013.

In the first quarter 2013, compared with the previous period September – December 2012, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports decrease for North-East -0.9%), Centre (-0.9%) and South and Islands (-7.8%) while increase for North-West (+0.5%).

In the first quarter 2013, compared with the first quarter of the previous year, exports decrease for North-East (-0.8%),  South (-6.0%) and Islands (-9.7%), increase for Centre (+2.2%) are stationary for North-West (+0.0%).

In first quarter 2013, compared with the first quarter 2012, more relevant decreases, according to their contribution to total export growth, were recorded for Puglia              (-16.1%),  Sicilia (-9.9%) and Sardegna (-9.1%), while relevant increase are recorded for Marche (+13.2%), Bolzano (+3.8%) and Liguria (+2.5%).
