In August 2023, estimates for construction output increased in the month-on-month series, rising by 2.1%.
In the three months to August 2023, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction dropped by 0.4% when compared with the previous three-month period.
Year on year, both the calendar adjusted index (calendar working days being 22 as in August 2022) and the unadjusted index fell by 0.3%.
In the first eight months of 2023, the calendar adjusted index declined by 2.1%, while the unadjusted series decreased by 2.2%.
