In May 2014 the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 1.1%, compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the quarter March-May was -1.0%, with respect to the previous quarter.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector in May 2014 decreased by 4.7% compared with same month of previous year (calendar working days in May 2014 being 21 versus 22 days in May 2013). In the period January-May 2014 the percentage change was -5.1% compared with the same period of 2013.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 8.0% compared with May 2013. Comparing the average of the first five months of 2014 with the same period of 2013 the index decreased by 6.5%.
