In the first quarter of 2012 the index of the aggregate turnover of services shows a decrease of 4.4%. Compared to the first quarter of 2011 the turnover index decreases by 18.4% in Wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, by 4.9% in Postal and courier activities, by 3.2% in Wholesale trade, by 2.1% in Accommodation, by 1.8% in Information and communication services and by 0.8% in Warehousing and support activities for transportations. In the first quarter 2012 the turnover index increases by 4.7 % in Air transport, by 4.4% in Land transport and transport via pipelines, by 2.9% in Food and beverage service activities, by 1.5% in Accomodation, by 1.0% in Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and by 0.1% in Water transport.

In the first quarter of 2012, compared with the previous quarter, the seasonally adjusted index of turnover increases by 0.7% in Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles A decrease is recorded in Wholesale trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (-2.5%), in Postal and courier activities (-1.3%), Air transport (-0.7%) and in Information and communication services (-0.4%).
