Consumer confidence

The confidence climate index fells in April from 96.3 to 89.0.

The decrease was notably explained by short term expectations, whose climate decreased from 86.3 to 76.6. The indicator on the current climate fell from 102.6 to 96.7.

The balance concerning forecasts on unemployment increased from 88 to 106.

Finally, inflation perceptions referring to the last 12 months increased from 89 to 91 compared to the previous month. Inflation expectations for 12 months rose from 33 to 50.
