Export of italian regions

Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions[1] for the reference period January- December 2015.

In the fourth quarter 2015, compared with the previous period July – September 2015, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports increased for South and Islands (+2.1%), North-East (+2.0%), North-West (+1.0%) and Centre (+0.9%).

In the year 2015, compared with the previous year, exports increased for[2] South (+10.2%), North-East (+4.7%), Centre (+4.0%) and North-West (+2.7%) while decreased for Islands (-7.3%).

In the same period more relevant increases, according to their contribution to total export increment, were recorded for Piemonte (+7.0%), Veneto (+5.3%), Emilia-Romagna (+4.4%), Lazio (+9.2%), Lombardia (+1.5%) and Basilicata (+145.7%), while relevant decreases are recorded for Sicilia           (-12.4%) and Liguria (-4.2%).
