Upon disclosure of Bes Report 2015 Istat provides a tool to display and perform analysis on the published indicators. Through different graphical features (maps, age pyramids, bar charts), it is possible to analyze regional, gender and generation differences for each of the indicators, and see how these differences have changed over time. The dashboard also enables benchmark analysis of each indicator (or a selection of indicators) by comparing a specific region with a benchmark – the value of Italy or the value of a geographical breakdown: this way strengths and weakness of an area can be graphically identified.
