The most important event for the official statistics is the National Conference of Statistics, which every two years brings together the actors of the National Statistical System and data users to discuss the most relevant issues for the growth of the country (Legislative Decree no. 322/89, article 15, para 4).
In compliance with the Institute’s policy of listening, the Conference is aimed at defining and improving strategies to meet the growing demand for information coming from different users of statistics.
